I'm not a very experienced sewer, but do make a few simple clothing items learning as I go. So far so good, but I have made a pair of pants and would like to make a vest to go with them.
I have a vest pattern that does not include instructions for linning it. Since it is just a plain vest pattern, could I just sew the fabric and linning together( right sides facing each other) leaving a space either at the bottom or side to turn it right side out? Any advice or ideas would be very much appreciated.
