Book or journal covers?

sistersunnie,
You could make placemats if you have enough of one color or combine them, combine different colors to make tote bags, spiffy wine bottle jackets which are very cute and easy to make, fabric bowls, fabric boxes. There are alot of cute coin purse pattens that require small amounts of fabric. I'm sure there are more but that's all I can come up with for now.

sistersunnie,
Wow I has some fabric samples sort of like that before.
I made pillows and bags as well as the album covers aready suggested. The bags were one of the my favorite
things to make, envelope bag and draw string bags, etc.
Bags are good gift wrap and a gift in itself.
Hope this also helps give you some ideas

A year ago or so, I had the same good fortune as you - a local interior design business was going out of the fabric business. The owner mentioned to a neighboring business that she sure wished she could find someone to give all her excess fabric to. My friend at the neighboring business said "well I know someone who would like that fabric!" I hauled a full stationwagon cargo area full from her shop. What I didn't want I took to the next quilt guild meeting for our members to fight over.

Those sample pieces make great tote bags, purses, and a little fun item called Humbug bags. There is a pattern available to purchase.

Some totes/purses I made:

More purses, this one is called the Towne bag:

I've used the samples to make cosmetic bags with clear plastic for inside pockets. Great for gifts.

Beautiful bags Teresa!
