Dark brown tile floor, cream white painted cabinets, Bianco Antica granite counters...now what for the backsplash?

I have recently installed bianco antico in a kitchen- (I am a project coordinator for a fabricator)and they installed ceramic tile in a subway pattern (3x6) using a color from the granite.

That's MY kitchen you are describing, ok, and others too!!!! I ended up with the white arabesque tiles that everyone here is bored to death hearing about!

BUT, if you want something different and with color, my favorite runner-up was a tile from Mandala, in Stingray. The colors worked great together with all of the elements. We were going to do the 4x12 subway. Below is a link, but for some reason, I can't link directly to the exact tile, so...click on Products, Then on SINU (the collection), and from there you can see the colors, the sizes, etc. The stingray is a really unique color--a taupe, it really matches the BA perfectly. See if you can find it IRL to check it out!

And after I decided I wanted to do a "white-ish" tile, I had found a beveled subway, Italian, crackle, with a gray undertone, it looked very nice too.

Congrats on the BA, isn't is just gorgeous???

OK, I'll check all this out. Thanks! As for BA, yes, it's gorgeous. I am curious, though...I'm not too savvy, first-time with ganite. I know it should have flaws (ugly places) but how much should be expected? Had I seen this particular slab ahead of time, I would have asked for another.

Bianco antico has the 'blobs' of quartz in it... but it's a marvelous stone- my favorite and if I had an increased budget for my kitchen countertops I would have loved to put it in mine however I only had a quartz budget! It is typical to get the quartz 'blob' in the stone- that is what it is known for other than the creamy appeal to it. I am shocked your stone supplier and fabricator didn't have you pick your slab out... we recommend it for everyone picking out an exotic stone- the level 1 and 2 stones are very uniformed like quartz- so it is not necessary to pick out your slab- they all look the same. In your case, Bianco Antico all looks different some are more creamy and some are more grey- but all in all- very gorgeous and chic!
