My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

If you have a manual, it should say in there. If not, look around the machine and see if the needle style is printed or embossed anywhere. Did it come with a package of needles? The needle packs will indicate the style.
Most machines take a universal needle. In fact I've never known one that doesn't. The only time you would maybe use a special one is if your machine had a special stitch or for sewing special fabrics--there is a jean needle
They come in ball point and sharp. For most things I use the ball point. They separate the fabric threads instead of cutting through them like the sharp one does,
Your manual should give you the sizes and what material they are used for
