Trade,sell, giveaway,donate etc.I also have a box full under my cutting table to dispose of,and a lot of mine are ones that have been discontinued,or i just never used them after i got them.Mine cover all genres of sewing.Kids,adults,men & women,home decor crafts,like dolls stuffed animals,quilting,you name it!!

If you have friends that sew, you can pass them along.

You can sell them at a yard sale, but generally patterns don't sell for much more than a quarter. That really hurts after spending upwards of $10-15 on it.

Perhaps a consignment shop or Salvation Army store would be interested in them?

Or Craigslist?

I, too have a good supply of all different kinds of patterns that I hold onto. I recently made pajamas for my grandson from a pattern I used to make his dad and uncle pajamas when they were little.

I used some of mine for wrapping bridal shower gifts. My girl friends daughter was getting married and gf got her daughter a sewing machine for the gift. I bought her oodles of sewing notions and wrapped them in the old pattern tissues.

Another idea I remembered. When my Mom moved, we wrapped fragile items in pattern tissue.
