Where's a good place?

Boy, there is not much going on in this forum seems like. I guess everybody is busy with their gardening. I wanted to get some blouse fabric and the only place available here is JoAnn Fabrics. I wanted some pretty cotton fabric with a little bit of polyester in it, but all I could get was 100% cotton--expensive too. I hate to iron. You can buy shirts with some poly. Does anybody know where you can order a good quality cotton-poly fabric--or is that a thing of the past? Thanks. -Barb

Barb,I sometimes see some fabrics at Wallmart which might meet your requirement, or even some pretty sheets on sale at times.

Barb, there must have been big improvements in making cotton fabrics, because I've noticed that good quality cotton quilting fabric does not wrinkle very much.

That said, you could try online sites. There's one called Waechter's (I think that's the correct spelling) that sells all kinds of fabrics. Or you could Google poly/cotton clothing fabric.

You can go to Hancock Fabrics online and hopefully JoAnn's have not brought all of them out. Vogue also sells fabric. Google fabric stores and then experiment. I love Britex fabric but they are expensive so I only use them for special occasions.
