what lining for valance?

Sometimes I make things more difficult than they actually are, so bear with me please. I am NOT a sewer and my sister has intermediate sewing skills so I am hoping all you sewing gurus can answer a question on curtain lining. She is making me a very simple tie-up valance. My selected fabric is Waverly Imperial Dress which is 85% cotton, 15% viscose and has a weight of 5.7oz. per sq. yd. I am trying to determine what is the best lining fabric to purchase in order to provide a nice drape and to protect from fading. (black-out is not required)

I have found the exact valance made from the exact fabric that is listed as using a high count broadcloth for lining. This is from a commercial hotel/inn supply company so I am assuming it is good quality as far as draping.

After hours of Internet researching linings fabric weights...etc, I am now more confused than ever. When looking at linings all the sites state is lightweight or medium weight or black-out. My question is, how do I determine if it is a high count fabric when shopping on-line?

Here is a link to the valance I found: http://www.innstyle.com/cart.php?target=category&category_id=752

Thanks for any help you can provide!
