I recommend that you try the site below and get snaps that they use for making all-in-one diapers. I have ordered from her when I was making diapers for my grandsons. She is quite nice and gets you the cheapest shipping available, which for you may just be the cost of a letter.

You may try to get them locally, but they don't sell them in stores. The use and washing and drying that these snaps go through on diapers, would also make them good for bibs

I just looked through Diapercuts and she doesn't sell the snaps any more. You should be able to find them somewhere else though. There are lots of sites for making diapers

Hi - Dritz snap fasteners come in a kit w/ a small tool for attaching them - if it's a bib, I imagine you only need 1 or 2 per bib?

Found this 1 @ Joann's, but most fabric stores carry Dritz products.

& FWIW, wondering if Velcro/hook & loop would work as well?

I always use velcro when i make them,readily available and i almost always have some here as i use it for other things.
