Any good sewing store should still have it, at least those who sell sewing machines. I think Singer all purpose oil is still available, but any light acid free mineral oil is fine. As an alternative with a possible improvement you can use Finish Line Ceramic Wet Lube, it is light flowing about the same as Singer oil, but more refined (synthetic) and with added teflon and nano particle ceramic (boron nitrate). I have used it on my old Bernina and Singers for two years now and they are really happy with it. Triflow has an oil with added teflon, but double check you don't get the dry lube version, it's not so good for mechanical sewing machines. It needs to be "wet lube", which means a light flowing oil.

Finish Line and Triflow are made for bicycles. I don't think you will find any equivalent oil used in cars these days, at least not motor oil. However I'm sure any large outlet that sell car parts and different oils will have a high quality all purpose mineral oil meant for household use.

Grease for motor axle or gears? Both Tri-Flow and Finish Line Ceramic grease (on smaller tubes or tub) will lubricate to above the original standard on older machines. However, any standard grease for gears and motors should be fine. As with the oil, the original Singer grease should still be available and it works fine on sewing machines in general.

Since you own old Kenmores, what is the soft button on the back of my Kenmore 10 stitch machine that I just bought at an estate sale. I wondered if it was some sort oiling mechanism for the bobbin system, although I don't see anywhere to put oil. I don't have a manual. Thanks
