I'll be interested in this also.I have a lot to get rid of sewing,quilting,craft books and supplies.Hope someone know of a place.

Just donate them. Take the tax deduction.

These items have NO VALUE to you. I know, I know, you paid good money for them. That money is gone, and you'll never get it back, but still it hurts to let them go.

How much more effort are you willing to put into them? Selling takes time and effort, and then you'll feel insulted by how little people will offer for them.

Do make a list, do check out on-line what the items are worth, but were I you - I'd be donating to Goodwill ASAP.

puzzlefan - If you are not getting any interest, it may because you are not writing a good ad.

Sell it as one large lot, call it an "Instant Stash of Quilting Fabric" and sell the whole barrel at a flat rate ... something that will be about $1-$2 a yard should sell fast.

Make sure you have good photos of the variety - folded and stacked to show the prints. Photos sell products; well-lit, in focus. big enough to see details.

I even sold a laundry basket of scraps left over after I sold several huge batches of fat quarters on eBay, selling them as "Quilt Fabrics: Instant Stash". They were not regular sizes, but they were usable for fan quilts and other styles, and it was dozens of different fabrics. I only had a couple of bids, but the buyer was happy and so was I.
