advice needed - soft handled scissors

I am getting calloused fingers due to the metal handles cutting into my skin, even though I am using top quality (Fiskar) sewing scissors. The cutting is becoming quite painful too. Can someone advise whether there are scissors available with soft lining on the handles to avoid this problem?

Fiskars makes some that have a spring handle that are cushioned. My husband, who's left handed uses those when he helps me. JoAnn's has their scissors 1/2 off the day after thanksgiving.

How about using a rotary cutter.Much easier on the hands,just make sure you close it up after each use or buy one that retracts automatically.
