Can you get a generic type from say Walmart? Take in your broken plastic one and see if any of the ones they sell will match up......also call some sewing machine repair places....people trade in junkers that they strip for second hand parts. That is what I would do...get out the phone book and have your machine model number ready and ask if they would have a foot and the price. If you are lucky, you will come across one that way in no time. Budster

What model Kenmore do you have? If you know the model number, Sears Parts should have a zipper foot for your machine.

I sypathize with your zipper foot problem, they are sometimes hard to find. I usually find them in Joanns and buy a zipper foot for a long shank machine--you do not want one that says Singer slant. The only sna- on zipper foot I like is from the old Singer, hate the others because they is no toe to follow a line on the zipper with.

If you go to Sears, on the rack where they have the needles, they usually have an old-fashioned accessory set for around $30 for long shank machines and where I got a set for short-shank machines...it has the zipper foot, hemmers and other goodies in it.
