For all you Blind and curtain makers QUESTION

I want to make some new blinds for all over the house but I don't want the blinds to be all the same DH always wants the front of the windows to be the same when you look in off the street or some one drives by LOL.I have quite a few blinds to make. Now in my Mothers room I made blinds for her window which I really like and want to make them for all over the house. All I did was use wide 100% cotton fabric and what I did was turn the tops over about 3" for the rod to run thru and I added small round rings to the back of the blind and I made 4 long fabric ties 2 sewn from the top of the curtain to hang lenghtwise down and 2 on the front of the curtain the ones in the back of the curtain ran thru the rings and then I could gather the curtain or blind what ever you want to call it up and tie them in a bow

I want to make different curtain blinds for each room so now the question could I use a drapery lining on the back of the fabric I use so they will all look the same on the outside front of the house BUT if I do will the drapery lining PUCKER away from the curtain even if I sew the lining to the fabric is their any type of lining I can iron on? The pic is what I made and want to make for the whole house.
