White glass SOS

Hi,

I'm near the end of a kitchen face-lift project that doesn't seem to end due to glass issues. The idea was to use either frosted or white glass inserts for the kitchen cabinet doors. It turns out that frosted glass still will let me see what is in the cabinet. So, I started to focus on finding white glass.

From my research so far I found the following categories:

1.) Stained white glass (e.g. 209 from Spectrum)

2.) A white (stained) glass with a geometrical pattern similar to recessed ceiling light covers

3.) laminated white glass

I like the stained white glass 1.). However, for my application I would prefer that it has less imperfection (character). Is there white stained glass that is more uniform?

Glass 2.) would work well. I just have some concerns regarding the resemblance to the cheap recessed ceiling lights. My question: are there other white glass types with other geometrical patterns (e.g. typical kitchen patterns)?

Glass 3.) laminated glass: main drawback: price!

Are there other types of white glass?

Is there a durable option to paint glass?
