Pigs

A friend of mine wanted me to paint some pictures for her. I'm not sure if what we did was illegal or not since I'm not making any money from this...lol

She saw a few pictures that she liked at some store and I don't think I would have had the balls to do it but she told the clerk that she had to have her purchases approved by her husband. She asked if she could take a few photos of the ones she wanted and have her husband look at them...lol..the clerk said yes, so she took her photos. She then brought them to me and asked could I paint them myself.

She also got some cabinet doors for free, she has to be the cheapest person I know...lol...but she's my friend and I love her anyway.

So here is the first of our results from our shady (hopefully not illegal) project.

Well, I don't know about it being illegal, but it sure is cute as a pigs tail!!! You did a great job from looking at a picture. Love the pigs too. How whimsical they are. Makes you want to smile to look at them. My SIL who collects pigs would go "hog wild" over them. ha Sorry I couldn't resist. ha Great job Nightlilly. ~Anj

What a nice surprise! The server had been down, so I really wasn't expecting anything to be new on here but just checked anyway.

Love those cute pigs--you did a great job of painting them. So cute.

I used to collect pig items--but DH and DS weren't as crazy about them as I was, so I sold most of them at our moving sale. Sort of glad to know that they are still popular though.

Thanks, I thought they turned out cute too. The other photos she brought me were combinations of other animals, there are ducks and geese, and sheep, cows and pigs. I painted the pigs first cuz they looked the easiest...lol

I don't think it's "That" illegal!!! LOL After all you didn't do them exactly as they were on the pictures she took.

When i was in N.Y. state a couple years ago my sister took me to a craft store that we don't have here in Calif.I bought some wood pieces to paint and they didn't have the book or the handouts to go with them,so i pulled out my camera and took pictures as well.Ya do what ya gotta do.LOL

By the way those are soooooooo cute.
