I finished painting two gourd so far. They are antiqued but not varnished as yet.

Lovely, I have trouble blending, I think my patience is shot. Still caring for elderly mom!! Running 2 households for 4 1/2 yrs is wearing me down .I did repaint a sunflower thing I got at TS for friends' birthday, she's crazy about sunflowers & this was iron so should last. Gave it several coats of spray finish! I think I'm going to plant gourds next yr as I just love them! TFS Jan

Jan, the paint I am using is called Traditions and is sold by Decoart Americana. You don't float this paint if you don't want to, just add the extender and you can just pat color on. If you can't get this paint in the store, just go to the website to order. Rosy
