Anj, guess what? My DIL loves the pumpkins! Said she wanted some too. Told her anytime she sees something I have painted that she likes, just tell me she would like one and it is hers.

My son had informed me last year that my "country style" does not go with DIL's style so she might not like for me to make things for her. This was when I was sending a scarecrow home with him that DIL had said she would like. So I have not given any painted items since then. I mentioned this to her and she said that while things might not go for regular decor, she loves the idea of seasonal items. How about that?

I am thrilled to give her things she likes, besides I can always make another one.

Yes, suddenly the "creative" mood has hit me--it's about time! Haven't wanted to do much all summer. I cut out two more Halloween items today and starting basecoating them. Sort of figured that if I want to be part of this forum, then I'd better start painting so I have something to contribute again. ;o)

Well that makes sense. Holiday items don't usually have anything to do with your regular decor.

Ok way to make me feel guilty. ha JK I did get a few patterns transfered yesterday so it's a start. I've got to head out to Wallys this morning so may have some time this afternoon to put paint to pattern. You are on a roll so just go with it. :) ~Anj
