I just went thru a wallpaper removal myself and it was a booger! Took me a second to figure out that those were hooks on the pelican. ha With the shadows it looks like something is painted on it, but I finally got on board. ha It looks fantstic really. My DH is from LA and it's the state bird so we have a partiality to them. :)
The paradise sign is wonderful too. Is that one of the ones you are doing for the Inn, to sell, or just describing your surroundings. ha I love Florida!! Great job.
Hope you are enjoying yourself a little and not spending all your time slaving away on nasty wallpaper jobs! :) Get out there and scour the beaches for me. I love to look for sharks teeth, angel wings and sea glass and of course pretty shells. We miss having you here regularly. :) Get back here when you can! ~Anj

Hi Gail, I was just thinking about you yesterday. We miss you and all your great painted items! So good to hear from you. As always, your painted items look great. I can just picture you sitting on the beach or out on your patio contentedly painting away. ;o) Good luck with that wallpaper--can be a bear to remove if it was put on really well. I agree with Anj, make sure you take some time to get out there on the beach and enjoy yourself!

Glad you like my things. I don't know what I'm going to do with the Paradise sign. I was just trying it out. Right now it hangs on the carport. We're having a great time down here riding bikes and going to the pool everyday. It really is paradise. I found 4 chairs that people were throwing away. One I'm going to paint for a friend. I'll have to sell them down here cause there wont be room to take them home. :~) Gail

Hi from another Floridian - these are great. Hope you enjoy living in my homestate. PS - try using fabric softener in the water when removing wallpaper - works wonders.
