I enjoyed doing it. I have another which is ready to grout and has more of an ocean theme to it. Hoping to get it done this week.

They also have this big humungous round buoy. I just might attempt something with that one too!

Oh, TIFFY - welcome back - have missed you. Great idea, and of course, your work is always fabulous. Does the shop have any of those huge glass buoys. That'd be neat to mosaic too. You have tons of room in your wonderful garden for lots of them.

Slow, They don't have glass, but they do have a nice huge one - diameter is at least 24 inches. I must be insane since I drool just thinking about doing a mosaic on it. They don't make buoys out of glass anymore. Can's even buy new ones made out of wood. The styro is great though. It's really tough.

Calamity, I have another which I just have to grout. Making a fire in the woodstove in the basement tonight so I just might migrate down there and do it.

The guys at the shop are curious about what I'm doing to the buoys so I have to bring them on the weekend and show them. Ever try to explain mosaics to a bunch of guys???? It is a most difficult thing to do! :O)
