How cool is that?

You may know this trick, but I'll pass it along
for others, and shame I can't remember who to credit
for introducing me.

While your project is still not grouted, assuming the
adhesive is completely dry, simply spread dry grout
in a small section and look at it from different angles.
Keep in mind it will likely be darker once you mix it
and actually apply it.

I've used the dry grout method many times to help figure
out which color to use, and glad I did.

Also, provided your adhesive choice was E-600 or
Bond / Beacon 527, you could actually mix a tiny amount
of grout as you should, smear it in and then you will
have a much better idea. Don't like it? Rinse it out
with water and allow your project to thoroughly dry
before trying another color.

Just a few ideas.

The horse is one piece ! LOL I gave my ring saw a workout doing 2 horses.

Holy smokes!! That is some nice!! I'm grout-colour challenged on this one, but that comes as no surprise to me. Looking at it, the gray would look nice, maybe a medium hue to make the clear really pop with the horsey? :O)

So what's the name of the horse? After all, we have Sammy the salmon, Erin the heron...

OMG that is the best ringsaw cutting I have EVER seen!!! Where you drinking your punch drink???!!! I better get your receipe so I can cut better. I would never have thought you cut that on your saw..mine turn out ok but a little wonky..yours however my dear are PERFECT!!

Yep, gray grout. I considered red, or white, but I think grey, however you spell it :)

TMG, Excellent job with the cutting! Grout them puppies!!! Once you grout, you'll be totally addicted! It's my fav part!!!

Wow, wow, wow. Maybe I do need a ring saw! I would love to do one of these for my DD who is friesian nuts. I think it needs a Dutch name as these guys came from Holland. What intricate work. Great job.

Like everyone else - wow on the cutting skills. Didn't know you can cut things like that - I just wish I didn't have shaky hands.

My first thought was red grout. Nice cutting, indeed. Thanks, WUVIE for the grout tip - very useful - wish I'd known about that when I was into colors - now it's grey, black or dark green.

Great cutting job, it'll look good no matter what color you grout, but I think grey would look great,
