They are so cute. You did such a good job on the little birds! I like that you did them both a little different. You are on a roll....don't stop! ~Anj

    hey phonegirl,
those are really cute :) i am partial to brown hats :) tho i like the squiggly plaids you did for the top one. i love the little birds as well! they are cute! you are churning out gifts aren't you...well... all of you are... i'm the slowest! how long do you take to paint a snowman?

Anj, thanks for the compliment on the birds, they aren't hard so you should give it a try. The way you paint no problem, girlfriend.
Luthien, my guess would be probably 4 hours. I painted a shutter yesterday and it took all day. I just started another and can't decide how to paint a snowman on it. ha ha Luvs turned out so cute that it's hard to follow. LOL

These little guys are cute. That brown hat looks so realistic to me. And the little tree with the bird is so cute too. You are a fast painter I think, Phonegirl. I'll look forward to seeing your painted shutters. I have some small ones and one more big one left to do something with. Luvs

Nope luthien...I think I'm still the grand prize winner for slowest painter! ha You've been posting lots and where are all my projects?? Still in the works. =) ~Anj

You are both right on the brown hat and I painted a black one on my shutter and it doesn't look real. Not real happy about the way the hat turned out on it but wasn't willing to repaint it. I din't have a pattern so just started painting so it's my orginal. Luthien, maybe I should keep perfecting and get ready to copy right. ha ha As soon as I get a camera I'll post some pictures of it.

Great Snowmen....each is special! Your tree's are so dementional & the bird is a perfect topper.

I think I can challenge Anj for being the slowest. I am just way to picky! That's why I stopped doing oils - I messed with them.

    ps...get a camera soon!

I've never painted with oils but someday I hope to. These were to go on my snowman crossing but I ended up not get these painted till now. May make another and put mine on it. I have more snowmen to paint so will have enough to make another. I don't think you are all slow but I paint alot these days. Hum
