That's so pretty. The ladies should love it and be inspired. The 1/2 marbles sound like a good starting point -- or you could let them try pennies. Just don't use liquid nails. ;-)

This turned out so nice. I like how you used the black glass - it made the suns stand out. Have fun at class - should be interesting with newbies.

Brrrrr you have to be cold!!!! Your ball turned out perfect!!! Those suns on there are just beautiful and the black fill really made it shine!! The little spots of red (beads?) really go nicely in all that black, just the right touch!

The little specs of red are acrylic jewels. I also added small square mirror tiles. The grout is Mapei sanded grout. I love the look of black grout but hate using it. It is always so messy.
