Butterfly House Finished

Here are pictures of the butterfly house finished.

I learned a lot about crash glass while doing this piece. First I did tumble it a little to get a cloudy, softer looking glass. Working with such tiny pieces was another experience. Color changed...when I first applied it with weldbond, it appeared blue. After the glue dried, it appeared more green. I should have painted all the wood instead of just leaving it natural if I wanted it more blue. But the green tint is OK.

This butterfly house was commissioned for a b'day present. I hope they are happy with it.
