Two thoughts:

If using as a wall hanging, I like frame #2 for a nice finished touch , BUT...
if it were being used as a display (like you have it in pic #1), or a trivet/hotplate, no frame.

Depends on your planned usage, I suppose. It's nice either way!!!

Oh, that is so cute!! I like without the frame. if you want the frame I'd go with picture #2

I changed my mind...I like the last pic except the frame needs to be mosaiced too!!! It IS Really CUTE!!!

THANK YOU all for such nice compliments! I have put Mr. Hoppy in a plastic bag to cure and will look at him in the next day or two and decide then!
