    the bottom post is a 6" square post. All others are standard 4".

    I believe so. I think we used Jacobean on the stairs for a little contrast.

    It said on one of your posts it was Early American. I'm so confused...which is it on the floors?

    The first floor stain color is the Early American. The stairs, posts and handrail are all Jacobean. Hope that helps clarify things.
