Cooktops-need help finding one

I need a new cooktop and will probably buy this weekend with Memorial day sales going on. I need the following:

30"

4 in deep-cannot do 8 in deep since I have drawers beneath it

black

gas

Under $800, preferably under $700. I looked at Sears and found a few options there.

Wondering if anyone has input on one they have that is great and economical.

Mine is the 36inch and stainless but I think it comes in black too. I have the GE Cafe and I love it. The simmer works great and the middle burner has a power boil that is super fast. I have a drawer underneath so it would work.

If you change your mind, induction is the best cooking technology ever. I love it! And I've cooked on both gas and electric in the past.

I cannot change my mind. I'm on a $9K budget, so I cannot redo any plumbing, electrical, gas, etc. Maybe in 20 years when we'd gut the kitchen;-)
