Sink doesn't need to match your appliances. There are some really nice blanco silgranit colours. Go with what you like...it's your kitchen. Good luck :)

Take a look at the Blanco silgranit sinks. They are now available in "cafe brown", which is a dark brown. I LOVE my silgranit sink in anthracite and there are lots of positive comments here about these sinks. The only caution is to make sure you don't have cracks from shipping before the sink is installed.

I'm just about to order a blanco silgranite (in biscuit) but I have a different color scheme than you. The "cafe" silgranit is beautiful. Photographs do not do them justice. I went to a high-end plumbing showroom recently specifically to see the difference between biscuit and white. I feLL in love with the silky texture of these sinks. I wanted to tell the sales person, go away...I just want to pet this sink for another half hour!

Silgranit sinks are 80% granite and the color goes all the way through. They are supposed to be very durable and clean easily. I never heard of them until so many people on this forum raved about them.

I also dislike stainless steel for sinks. I have well water and moved into an existing home where the ss sink looked like an old nickel. I am as excited about getting the new sink as I am about my granite countertops.

I bought mine online at Homeclicks for a great price. Sink came in 3 days. I have also read good reviews on homeandstone.com.
I have the 1 3/4 Blanco Silgranit in Anthracite (black). It is not installed but I took it out the box, it's beautiful and big.

I love it. The only real trick is that because the surface is slightly textured, it grabs on to liquids.
