I didn't buy them but thought of you last evening. My local FD store has different colored bevelled glass candle bases for a dollar apiece, mirrored ones too. They're about 5" square/round/hex.

Slow, you might be interested in the crosses made from mirrored bevels. 6"-7" tall.

That is where I get most all my mirrors also.

There is a place online though that does sell them even cheaper, and shipping is not bad. Bonus though, they take Paypal.
