Hubcaps

I made these for a contest, "Movement". I couldn't actually install them on the car but they would have fit perfectly. Ever since doing this project I can't stop looking at car's hubcaps! I never realized how many neat designs there are. I also learned...not all cars have hubcaps, and not all hubcaps fit all cars! I guess it wasn't something I've ever paid attention to before, now I can't stop looking!

Rock 'n Roll!!!! Those are just way too cool!
It's funny how differently you look at things when the mosaic obsession takes over, LOL!

Oh, it's a shame you can't keep them on the car! They are just too perfect for that red bug! Is there a particular reason why they can't stay on a car?

Thanks everyone! Not all cars have hubcaps, some have fancy rims that can't be removed. The VW had fancy rims and no place to clip on hubcaps so they couldn't actually be installed. I used silicone and glued directly on the hubcap, they are made of some kind of plastic to look like chrome. I am new to all this, in fact it was my first time ever in a wrecking yard, I thought I would have to take them off a car but they were all piled on the ground. I picked these because I instantly thought of a sunflower.
