I used envirotex lite on my {{!gwi}} and she turned out pretty smooth. A few little bumps, but I figured that's because the resin settled in to the cork pores and maybe I should have sealed the cork with something first.
I also like to use Future wax, like on my {{!gwi}} If you put enough layers, it might give it a smooth surface. A hint about the Future wax (or Pledge with Future Shine), you'll want to use grout sealer first, then use the wax the next day and I'd wait several hours between layers of wax. Hope all this helps. cause I just put Future on that table, I was worried about the reaction of grout sealant and the pc tiles so I floor waxed it instead... Is something really bad gonna happen?

I think the sealant just gives the grout more protecton. I futured my veggie bins, but months after I sealed the grout

NICE, I don't know why I do anything, it's all hit or miss with me, lol! I think you don't get the sparkle on the grout if you don't use sealer first? Yellowrose tried it and this is what she said,
" I put a fair amount of future wax on the picture, over the glass & grout. I see NO difference. Both look the same. After it dried I put a small drop of water on the grout. It beaded for 1 second and then soaked right in."
I only had extra shine in mind when I first tried the wax.

Wanted to clarifly that Yellowrose tried putting the wax on her project without putting on grout sealer first. I only suggested the wax here as a possibility for the smoothness that drakeklbel was wondering about, thinking that if you put enough layers on it might give it a resin-like top coat?

OK...FORGET about the Future Wax!! I had a crappy experience with it this morning...I'll start a new thread when I get home from work 2nite.

Don't panic, NT...I'm sure it's going to be fine! My problem happend pretty quick, so I'm sure yours is just fine! I made and I don't know what went wrong, but maybe I panicked and should have given it more time to see if it would clear up after more drying time. It didn't look this bad at first, I made it worse by trying to get the wax off! I am going to work on it tonight and hopefully it will be all better by tomorrow!
