Boy - and to think I Passed up this swap because I thought a bowl was no big deal. Shame on me.

More different, fabulous bowls. Making my day, looks so cheerful and spring-like. Almost can forget the wind chill is about 20 here today (and I have to go out and fix a flat tire instead of doing this.)Love the imaginative use of colors and figures and those beautiful blues.

I just love them all. No shame, TOOMUCH - I felt the same, still do - just don't need or have a place to put one. House is filling up - gotta make priorities. I DO think they all are absolutely gorgeous. All y'all did a fabulous job in mosaicing.

ohhh-so excited to come home from shopping and find a pkg on the porch. from texas. the bowl is just too beutiful for words. the note said it was made from a 1950s era ceiling light cover and the flower is part of a hand blown glass vase. i love the flower part and especially the inside which is mosaiced with glass globs. its translucent like a stained glass lampshade . i think i will hang it somewhere special inside. also sent a base for it if i want to use it for a bird bath or feeder. {{!gwi}} {{!gwi}}{{!gwi}} thanks pat i will treasure this always....barb

Talk about CREATIVE - this is what the word was created for. Pat who - forgive me - I'm old and don't remember. This is wonderful - using a light fixture for a base, and the half vase - love the whole thang.

Maria, I'm so glad it got there & one piece & I'm glad you like it. Yes the back is decopauged with blue tissue paper & stars I cut out of gold paper. Going for a day & night theme ya know. :o)

Yes, Hazie, that's my hummer birdbath/bowl.....first thing I thought of when the theme was named was a birdbath/feeder bowl. We're sorta bird crazy around here....feed anything with wings that happens to drop by.

gin gin- your night and day theme is awesome. I love the colors and the decoupage, it has such fun colors around the edge.

crystal101- If I didn't know yours was a bowl I would think it was a spring hat..it is so beautiful with those butterflies going around that flower

Wow! All these bowls are so awesome. It has been wonderful looking at all of them and seeing just how different and beautiful they all can be! Isn't it amazing how everyone can look at a plain old bowl and come up with such fantastic ideas? Boy, am I glad these weren't submitted for a contest...how the heck would you pick a winner?

Hi everyone. I am back. YIKES I have been missing so much. I am stunned at the beauty in these bowls!! Every one did such a wonderful job. I don't think I can even add much more praise.

Even on dial up I W_A_I___T__E___DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD for A___L___L the pictures to load. LOL Had to do this when hubby was not on the other computer. He would have been fussing. Men what do they know???

I sure hope to get in on a swap soon. Maybe not the next but soon so don't stop doing them yet!!

diamond- you should not be worried about how your bowl looks. We have not had an ugly swap item yet..they are all so great and look how alike they all are and we didn'teven know what the other was sending!! That is an awesome coincidence. Oh Jennie...I Love My Bowl...I have spent all morning trying to post more than one picure in this thread and can still only get one...i know everyone is waiting so i will post from my photobucket file i made just for our swaps..Anyway I have lot's of pictures of your or MY pretty bowl there.I don't know why you had a worry in the world ..it is perfect.I love the wood bottom and your colors are neutral enough they go with anything...and the shape is great can be used for lot's of things.I have it on my bakers rack in the kitchen right now,but plan on using it for many things.Thank You Soooo Much!
