Bird GOG

I am going to attempt to drill this round glass(don't know if it's tempered or if it will crack) 20"across, was thinking of doing a peacock on this, but have another if I want to do a peacock. Had this little template sitting around for an idea...so crudely copying it, will fill in the rest with flowers and such...off to drill....

There she goes again - on some super duper stuff that makes her a speed demon. How, pray tell, do you work so fast? All that TODAY? Looking gorgeous, as usual. Did you use your saw on the glass?

Oh for Heaven's sake - I w/never have thought of those babies inside. Your tess must be teensy. What's the size of this whole piece? Where you hanging it? Truly a wonderful project. Guess you'll have all the flowers done today? I'm so anxious to see this finished. Beautiful, CALAM, just beautiful.

WIP pic...have nipped most of this, no saw, that would mean slowing down and having to "prepare" the saw!lol! (add water!) all sharp edges as I just can't wait/tumble!lol! Lost a whole day due to company...sheesh!hahaha! I found a stash of really cool blue glass(scrounged from somewhere...) it is paper thin and I can tell it's older glass, which goes with the theme of using all my old scrounged glass...way cool!!! The pic just doesn't look like the true colors, but once it's grout(black of course!!!)I think I will be very happy! (6weeks today since my hysterectomy...off to see the doc!!! Feeling waaay better, not 100%, but pretty good!)

This whole thing spells spring. I LOVE it - those colors are delicious. What kind is the purple glass - never see that color. Absolutely beautiful, CALAM. I also love the shape of your flower petals. The green looks so beautiful against those vivid colors.

The neatest thing happened the other day, Hubby was leaving to go to work, he rides his bicycle, and was getting it out of the shed(which has a front door that is a sliding glass door without the door!) and a robin was sitting right there on a picnic table squaking at him, he commented how weird it was to me, so I went into the shed to see if she might have a baby in there(worried as we have a cat that lives in there), looked around couldn't see anything but the cat...so was reaching down to pick up a garden tool right at the front door...and there was a baby robin....frozen in fear!!! I put my gloves on and picked it up and put it on a branc of a bush, near where mama robin was...by this time poppa robin was there too! and boy did momma put up a fuss!!! She musta been giving that baby what for!!! I walked away and when I came back they were all gone!!! Was so neat to get that close to the baby!!!I felt so good saving it from kitty!!!
