I imagine at some point they'll break. Can you use them as halves on something? I use my nippers (regular) and they break fairly easily. If they're already fractured it should be easy

They might crumble if I use the nips, most have multiple fractures. They weren't dropped or shaken up, they were tucked in a box with some newspaper wrapped vases I had planned on mosaicing and had forgotten about. The have been stored for about 3 maybe 4 years. Will the globs I used previously that were fine suddenly fracture on the mosaics I've used them on? I like to use them on the rims of terra cotta flower pots and on frames and candle holders. This kinda makes me nervous, I'm a big fan of durable creations

I wouldn't use them for mosaic now. But I wouldn't be too concerned about the ones you have already used. Did you have the others stored in an uncontrolled climate (attic, or basement)? That may explain the cracking if they were in big temp. changes.

No just stored in my studio mostly and in an climate controlled storage unit for a time. The purple ones stored in the same box are fine tho the squiggle shaped ones also show fractures. I wanted to use the red ones in a project I am demoing tomorrow but it looks like purple will be used instead.
