Linlee......I'm making this one for my daughter. She wants it for her bedroom. I don't really have a place in my house for anything like that yet.

rchovey......I ran out of GEII, so I'm using E6000.

Chickee........I'm still trying to decide on grout. I think about it during the whole project, and am never sure I made the right choice. I'm thinking about a little bling. I want to give her a belly piercing, I've been going through my
belly button rings trying to decide which one to part with.
I think she needs a necklace too, and maybe a flower tattoo,
but that might be just too much! Can't wait for you to start yours. I'm thinking about ordering another one, this
one is really fun!

Oh, HAZIE: Soooooooo glad to see you back at work. And, of course, I'll bet each piece is perfectly ground. Lordy, child, I don't know how you have so much patience, but it surely shows in your work. That is simply - did someone say - stunning? Love it. I have one of those mannequins. Is it hollow? Are you afraid of it flexing? I was going to fill mine w/concrete for an outside piece (back garden, of course) if ever I get to it.

She is pretty flexable. Hubby cut out a piece of plywood
for the back to sturdy her up. I thought about using it for a mold too.

Annie......My daughter is 20, and has her own place. So who knows, it may end up in the livingroom! she's a bit of a nut!

Had to come have another looksee. I love how you take the time to grind each piece to perfection. A true artisan for sure! There was a mannequin I saw recently that had a tattoo on it's back shoulder. Very cool, but I can't remember who the artist was.

The flesh-colored glass will look great-- I think it will add that extra dimension we love for our mosaics. I found a picture of Laurel Skye's mannequin -- got a twofer: a little tattoo and the flesh-colored glass. Love the grout color she used (linked below).

I wish the legs on mine were long enough for thigh high fishnets. I was so bummed when she arrived with such stumpy legs!

I think it was Shades that had the tattoo on the back shoulder of hers. Hers turned out so beautiful!

Oh gads, Shades' mannequin, of course!!! I don't know how I could've forgotten that, but I'm telling you, that tattoo was a vivid memory. I went back to look and I like the light pink grout she used for her flesh parts, too.
