You would toss this?? I rather like it! And who cares about cloudy silicone? Guess I'm not that picky. On my bathroom vanity, some of the epoxy developed bubbles where I didn't want them, but what the hey, it's character! I say, keep it! Black grout! Yes!

I'd keep going and black grout would be the choice here too.

I can see what you're saying, and I see the cloudiness, but it makes it look like an antique with glass which has changed over time.

Naw, I wouldn't toss. I'm guessing we can't see much of the cloudiness. The bubble I see look natural-- like they are a part of the glass, so that part looks great to me. If the amber section bothers you too much, just pull it off and re-do with another kind of glass, then use a glue you know for sure will work the way you want it to work.

Okay LR! Here it is finished and ready for grout, it's gone faster than I thought it would! Yippeee! Now, for grout I have tobacco brown, sable brown, charcoal black, black, I have green but I don't know......

Excuuuuu uh moi! I can't believe you'd even consider tossing that. WHO CARES if there's flaws. Some people worry too much about perfection. I think it's WONDERFUL. BTW - I dreamed of you last night. why do we get so wrapped up in perfection? The amber glass looks antique and has character... the whole piece is fabulous! DANG!

That's just lovely, don't toss it! I love that amber glass, I'm surprised it doesn't show the pattern on the mirror underneath, looks like some of that expensive antique glass! The cloudy glue adds to the antique look.
