What did you use as adhesive for the glass and is the window glazing still sound? I've had window glazing fall out in great chunks after about 2 years . . . .

Glazing is still sound. Yes, I drilled small holes in the pipe and the water trickles down the panel. My first attempt at a fountain. Haven't attempted another yet.

I love your fountain! I wanted to make something similar I saw in a magazine, never got around to it, but here is a pic...I thought 3 glass panels in the center would be cool. I love how you made yours! {{!gwi}}

Tried to respond earlier but it didn't go through...I'll try to work on anything I can stick something to. I made a bench that I was so proud of but unfortunately it didn't withstand the weather. I cried as I tore it apart and sent it to the dump. Always, always, seal, seal, seal anything that is going to be outdoors and choose your substrait carefully. A lesson learned the hard way. I made it from a wooden double sided restaurant booth, water got under the tiles and you can guess the rest. I don't have a picure of the finished product unfortunately, but here is a picture of the work in progress.

This isn't mosaic, but thought you might like to see it. It's a centerpiece I made using 3X3 bevels and mirror for the bottoms. It holds eleven tealight candles and looks very nice with the lights down low. I made one for each of my 2 daughters, 1 for my best friends birthday, and 1 as a raffle item for the Cancer Society, and I don't have one. Something wrong with that isn't there?

Oh Man that bench!! I woulda cried too!!! Zowie Batman!!! Some of us are learning how to concrete wire mesh as the base of mosaics and the gal who taught us has lots of inspiring stuff to look at...you are blowing me away with all your projects as I am wanting to do all of them!!! I scored a few boxes of those same beveled glass squares and rectangles and still haven't used them for anything but now you have given me a great idea!

So sorry about your bench! I'm glad I found this site because I learned it was a no no to mosaic on wood for outdoors. Saved me a lot of heartache because I know my birdhouses are for indoors only!
