That makes me want to clean my garage, Janey, but NOT TODAY. Got more weeding to do. Think I'll call in some big guns to enlarge a flowerbed. More work than I want to do this week. Your areas look good, and that stepper looks great. Tiles are so neatly cut. Do you have DH so buried in honey-do-s that he can't help w/the saw assembly???

I get sooo much done when DH works his 4 12hr shifts! He rides his bicycle to and from work and it takes him 45min each way so he is actually gone 14hrs for 4 days in a row!!! Then he is too tired to see the mess I've created...and by the time he wakes up on the 5th day, I've done and put back together again...!!! He came home last night to the light on for him in the nice clean shed, he actually worked 16hr shift, so was gone from 6am till 12am! He is inspired to put the new roof on now!!! Yippeee! A method to my madness!!!heh heh!
Anyhoo, I also bought this thing called a sanding stone(was sure I needed it!lol!) Of course it doesn't do what I hoped it would do, take those nicks off that look like a chip...(Nice! Cover your eyes!!!)

Lucky lady you to have SO MUCH space to store and work! No wonder you have so much STASH! Everything looks so tidy and organized...easier to find those things you forgot about, eh? Stepping stone looks GREAT...love those colors!

that first picture of the long shelves, with work table, is the idea I have for a greenhouse of sorts, on the side of the house.
If I never do get a real greenhouse, then I always figured that it would be efficient to tack some of the Tyveik moisture control vapor paper on the side of the house and go from there.
with a long board across the side of the house, and more boards from that board outward, to poles at a slant.
then, cover the whole thing with greenhouse plastic and there's a weekend greenhouse.
make the shelving, just like in your picture, with lots of brackets and doubles the space, with room to almost spare.
I have always wanted a greehouse large enough to have a picnic table and chairs in there, so I can go and just relax and get all humid and clear my thoughts.

right now, there's a 10x20 foot carport in the spot I want a 'temporary' garden/sun room
yeah, tempory, like me keeping plants in a pot 'temporary' for the duration and life of the plant.

I have an idea that I could do very well with the art of bonsai...lol

Becky, this shed was the previous owners green house! She had a big long grow table in the middle and all her gerainiums sat on those shelves. We use it for storing our garden equitment,bikes and my "stuff" but I do want to do (eventually) as you say, actually store some plants to overwinter in there, I've been working on perrenials for 4yrs now and feel confident to try annuals and vegetables ..next year! And I'm gonna store my garden art in there for the winter!

You've been working at a whirlwind pace. no one can keep up with you and Slow!I can't get back to work on anything til next week...been baby sitting and replacing dishwasher ,air cond.....hotter tjan blue blazes in here today!Good for you.

OK, I'm convinced...got to get organized. Can't get creative until I get organized...oh, and I've got to get that bowling ball out of the back of the car(will be my first), and the 4 hanging light fixtures I got at the thrift store(not sure what they will become yet), and the green vases I bought for a totem (will be my first)...so many projects, so little time. OH, yeah, gotta get organized first...

Well, I seem to be getting totally organized lately! Jus love the feeling of walking in and grabbing exactly what I want without rootin' round for it!!! My prob is I tend to do 3 or 4 things at once and don't clean up my mess!!! Yuk!

and I'm a multi tasker, on top of a collector of whatever catches my eye!
even a 3 bedroom house isn't enough room for me and my scattered table, when I'm on a roll.
good thing my mind is organized..lol, cuz you would never know it, otherwise!

Oh how I would love to have all that space, sounds like you are getting that place fixed up just the way you want it! Good for you! I'll bet your're a good organizer. Love the stepping stone....what's in the centre part, tiles?

Here is the flower and pedastal coming along, used two drain tiles and the stepping stone I made, I like the height at two high, and once this puppy is grouted, it will be fairly heavy! I mortared the stepping stone pcs, the center is a random border tile I found somewhere, the grout lines are about a hefty 1/4 inch or more but I am hoping since the tile is so smooth that the grout will give some purchase when walking on it.I want to do the "Slow" thing and mix mortar and grout together....need instructions...in person....for a month.....hee hee!
