Great projects! Love the jar of balls, a lot of work making each little ball I bet! Love the hummingbird design, are you going to glue it on the bench and grout around it?

I LOVE the fish and one of these days I'm gonna start on a jar of balls like yours. The hummingbird, even though I know it's a challenge with all those cuts, will sure make your mom proud!!

Oh my!!! Those are stunning! I have recently been checking out this forum as I want to mosaic an ugly old white birdbath that the former owners left here. I'd absolutely LOVE to do a hummingbird, but as this will be my first mosaic project I think I need to go with just random shapes :) Beautiful work! I love them all!

Hi Chickee! Good to see you posting some projects - they are great! Love the fish - it's so cute! And your ball jar is such a good idea - and looks so pretty. And OMG - the hummingbird project is absolutely beautiful! I love all the colors, and it's gonna look gorgeous on that bench!

Welcome Djscrapbooks, you could always start with a small picture frame, or bowling ball or something like that to get your feet wet in mosaics before you tackle the bird bath. Of course...remember to post pics, we love them!

Thanks for the welcome Barb! I'm still just reading as much as possible before tackling my birdbath, but really want to "just do it"! LOL!! From what I've read so far, I do need to try something smaller first! I think I'll do that before I regret ruining a perfectly good (yet ugly) birdbath :)

Everyone has done such beautiful work here! (Still in awe over that hummingbird here and love the blue around that fish!)I'm still drooling! And afraid of yet another addiction :) I'll share my stuff once I finally jump in :)

Thank you all for the great comments..I love it when I get to show off some of my work!!!! You all make it sooo worth it!!!! .I've not been able to check the post's until now...been such a nice day here we were busy swimming and doing yard stuff and shopping.

I will be putting the hummingbird on the bench and grouting around it..not sure what I will do on the rest of the bench yet.
