I'm still having problems. I have Firefox set up to clear the cache and browsing history when closed.

Mac OS X 10.5.8

Leahcate - you may have yours set to clear at closing (I do), but (depending on what browser you are using), go to Tools, Options, Privacy and there is an option to clear your cache.

I rarely use my back button. I prefer to open links and threads here in new tabs, which I close when I am done reading.

I'm still having problems with this site when using Firefox. I use Opera for this site now instead of Firefox. No problems with the back button. The drawback to Opera is that it does not have spellchecker.

I use Firefox 3.5.2 on a Mac. When I did what Bob414 suggested on the Computer Help forum my problems disappeared. I use two add-ons ... AdBlock Plus 1.1.1 and NoScript 1.9.8.1 where I don't allow Garden Web on my list of options.

natal! yea! Thanks for liking to Bob414's post. For anyone else having problems with shrinking fonts and back buttons, take a look at that link and see my post explaining how easily my fix was....thanks to Bob over in the Computer Help Forum. And thanks again, natal...would not have seen it if you'd not posted it here! Yea!

Leah, Bob's helped me through the years. I know his is a voice I can count on. Always happy to pass it along.

I got a new computer a few weeks ago with the new Google Chrome browser on it so I gave it a try. I was previously a Firefox user. I want minimal pop ups and a clean no-clutter browser. I LOVE Google Chrome. And no back button problems :-) Just thought I'd pass it on for those who have pondered trying it.
