GEESH! I just called my Lowes cuz I've seen several postings saying Mapei is being phased out from Lowes. To my relief, my Lowes is only discontinuing a couple colors grout (camel and mist), and as far as the clerk knows, this Lowes has no intention of discontinuing the Mapei products. Phew!

A buck a bag!!!! WHAT A SCORE!!!!! I scrounge 1/2 bags at thrift stores and have a great selection of colors but man, a buck a bag! I'm green with envy!!!!

I'm going to give the laticrete a try, Linlee's window grout looked pretty black. I think it has the polymer in it,too (I bought some but didn't read the container). He sold me the admix for the thinset. He said they had two with it in, but for outside I should add my own.

I was at a Lowe's (out of town) yesterday and they had loads of Mapei products including a large pallete waiting to be stocked on the shelf. It's interesting that the stores are not consistent. I was looking for the Ultraflex thinset but no luck.

My Lowes was fully stocked today too. Bought 25 lbs of gray Ultra 2. It's like a security blanket to have a full bag of mortar. Am I sick, or what?
