Those are so nice! So lifelike and pretty. Even if the blotches dont work they are wonderful.

NT, I love those pansies. My very first mosaic was a birdbath with pansies that my cousin cut for me. They look like yours without the black centers. I do love how you painted the centers. I think I need to try that. It looks like you have a small yellow center, what is it or is that just the photo picking up something else?

What are you going to do with all of these flowers?

Debbi, I put tiny yellow triangles in the centers. Making a BB to give to an auction fundraiser for the local daycare.

i tried painting some glass with rustoleum oil based enaml and it took a few days to cure fully but it seems to be sticking pretty well im going to poly over them when im done to make sure the paint doesnt start chipping

I had a saw when they first came out. I think I used it once, then hubby broke it trying it out. That was the end of that.
Come to think of it, I think I deserve another one!

Yes those are so pretty .You should not have trouble with the pant under the glass .I do it all the time all kinds of pant and all kind ways >I love playing with glass .I even pant safty glass.

Annie, yep the Taurus... cut 2 pieces and broke a raceway, thankfully I had spare parts at the ready (need to restock on those and blades soon)

Shrty, background is an irridescent opaque white and lt purple swirl. Cause I have enough!? Don't know why I bought it but I have 2 sheets? lol

Chickee, I'm using thinset instead of painting the ball. Relying on the white of the thinset mortar for a base color. It just about killed me to set those flowers into it and watch the stuff spouge up into grout lines, and NOT be able to clean it out until they were set enough to remove the tape... argh.

Nanatricia, the only problem was I'm too impatient to give it time to cure and when I scooted a few flowers around in the thinset, the paint slid around LOL oh well (shrug)

Gonna be another NT original, and so well done. Love your ideas.

Annie, on the II.2 model raceways are metal bands that flank the blade. They are considered wear parts and do need to be changed out.

I love those!! I love the look of pansies. Looking forward to seeing it completed. You are sooo handy with that saw!
