Just found the note. Since the pkg. was addressed by Cindy, I didn't realize it was from both Cindy and Jane. I also find in the note that the contents are for ROSIE too. Yaaa!!!! You got it, that was fast!!! I've been trying not to spoil the surprise, hee hee!!! Yup, We've wanted to do that since we got back from Mexico! Slow and Rosie, blew us away with such wonderful gifts when we met them in person and we are soo excited about going to Texas now to see these gals...gotta plan on when....hope you two enjoy the "stuff"!!! Inuksuks are the coolest things ever. I've been saving rocks to make some Cairns, but I think I like these things as much or more.

Oh wow, that is some great stuff. I love those frogs! I've had some computer problems for over a week, some things I have fixed, some I don't but enough I can maybe go get caught up on the board.

Jane & Cindy what a wonderful, generous gift you presented to Slow & Rosie. I can just imagine the excitement Slow felt as she opened up this box of treasures she wasn't even expecting!

Na uh! NO ONE can imagine how excited I was. I didn't have my glasses so couldn't see the return address, so had to run to the computer, get the glasses, and when I saw from whom, I about died of excitement, trying to tear the tape. Wouldn't budge. And to add to the anxiety, I had to go to the powder room, if you know what I mean, so had to run, run, run, then back to get the box (that sucker was heavy too) run to the workshop, get the sissors to cut the tape. That tape is HORRIBLE to open - VERY good tape, then there was so much in there, I couldn't stand the wait to find everything. I was like a wild woman tearing into that box. When I saw those glass tiles I about died AGAIN. Y'all just can't imagine how many projects were going through my head the whole time I was unpacking each item. WONDERFUL gift box. Thank y'all again.

Good for all of you...receiving and giving to friends is THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Slow and Rosie know how Cindy and I felt recieving their special gifts to us, and we thought the gift of meeting them in person was enough!!!!
Here is a pic of the picture frame Rosie mosaiced me and the "too pretty to wear" apron that Slow made me! They hang in my art room, with a pic of Rosie and my fav baubles collected on the apron!
I don't mean to get so sortamental/oops sentamental!!!

Well I'll be hornswaggled. I like your beginnings of a collection of baubles on the apron. It reminds me of a lamp I saw in an antique shop - made from an upper torso, and the whole torso was covered w/jewelry. I continue to thank God for the friends on this forum, and for the privilege of meeting you and KLINGER, CALAM. That was the most wonderful week I have ever spent on vacation, hands down. I truly hope we can repeat it. When I whined to Sam at the Haciendo last week that I couldn't decide which workshop to take, she said I could do like one returnee who takes five workshops a year.
