Have to say, IMHO the thinset would be better.

I've been reading up on the indirect method, which I have also never used. Maybe I'll incorporate that into this project also...)

All you have to do is butter your tiles with the thinset using a craftstick...then you don't lose your pattern.Thinset will hold up longer I think..Annie

OOOOOOOOHHHHH! Thank you, Annie! I thought I needed to cover a whole area of the board with thinset then put the tessarae in. Like DH does to lay tile. It didn't occur to me to do it the same way basically as using GE II! Thanks so much!

dont be affraid of thinset it is actually easier than glue IMO though I tend to make mor of a mess with it LOL
