Yep - she's on some kind of new vitamin! CALAM, that's very pretty. Looks like YOU, though. Suppose we can't change our styles, no matter how we like to imitate the work of the people we admire. I cut so many pieces of glass yesterday that I was again seeing shapes to cut in the faces I saw on t.v. last night. I'm sick, I tell you, SICK.

So...Calam...you don't have small balls? I guess (and hope) I missed something. I've been pretty busy this last week. However, I love it. And what a great way to display your creativity and it be ALL about the mosaic. Instead of, "That's a bowling ball? And you glued glass all over it! Pretty!" Now it's, "Look at those flowers and details! Incredible!" Does that make sense? (BTW, I love it)

jane....I am wiping the tears out of my eyes as I type....I read you post to my hubby and for a second he looked at me like I had grown an extra head..then rolled his eyes!!! You are such crack up!!!

They hanger is awesome and your panel is geat!! I love the colors, its kinda amazing how much you can get done at night huh!!!!! I swear some of my best inspirations came at night!!!!

Yup, those holes were the hardest, longest yet to drill, as they needed to be a 1/4 inch in size. Makes me feel good to use my tools(bits)! So no projects at the moment...why do I start like 2 or 3...or 4 at once?!!! Anyways, when I showed my DH this one he pipes up with: What about that Peacock??? Shouldn't you get it outta the way? Well, outta the mouths of babes...SHEESH!!!
THAT PEACOCK IS MY NEMESIS!!!! Okay...I'm calming down now.... God Bless that Lil Side o beef of mine!!! Bless his lil ol'heart!!!! nuf said...

Jane..that peacock is your treasure...I know it has been taking forever but when it is done, it will be the crowning jewel on your tiara of mosaics...don't rush it, it will get finished when it gets finished. If you force yourself to do it..you will finish it badly!!! We are all so in awe of that..y mouth still drops open when you post pictures of it...maybe you should post your progress thus far for those newbies we have here that haven't had the privilege of seeing it..
