Hazie- Thank you and congrats on the puppy. What breed? Puppies and a lot of work but such a reward as well.

Jane- Thanks for the compliments! What's carnival glass? The black one of the blueish one? Why is it called carnival glass? I just bought it at an antique shop.
Chickee- Thank you. And the rescue, she makes progress everyday. She has a broken leg, a hip out of socket, she was pregnant, and abandoned by her family. We're blessed she is with us. Unknowingly teaching us perseverance and what's really important.

Good luck with the doggie, so good to hear you rescued her.Mine is (was?) a rescue.The humane society here rescued her from Kentucky. No physical problems, but she took a long time to trust us! (especially men).Now she's queen of the house!

Maria- Thank you for the complments!! I'm thinking about putting a snake plant (mother-in-law's tongue plant) in the cherry pot. I'm also changing its name to the "Cheery Cherry Pot." LOL. My doggie, Delilah, is doing great! She got the cast off her broken leg today! She is still a little sore, though. Glad to hear you have a rescue, too!
Lyndalu- Don't ya just love Mary Englebreit?!? Her stuff is just so fun and cute and so "Why didn't I think of that?" I'm dying to start the fish, the owl is a matter of a lot of cuts! Gotta just jump in!
Barb- Thanks! You can tell you MIL if she really wants an owl like that I got it from Lowes the other day. I hope she likes the finish product! (I guess I'll just have to finish it so we can find out!) I got the fish at a local antiques store. It said handmade on the tag. Flip it over and it says Made in China. So it was mass-produced. There should be more out there somewhere. Maybe an eaby search? Its wooden.
