I love those! Have been grabbing up a bag of little stones each time I visit the dollar store. And... glad to see another use for crash glass. They are VERY nice! Wondering too how big they are....?

I did make the stars. I used a cake pan my MIL gave me they are probably about 9 inches across. I have quite a few molds that my MIL has given me, a flower, a star and so on....

The rock star was actually really soothing to make..the rocks just kinda of flow together and of course I used GEII to glue them on. My DH thought I should make one with black GEII but I didn't have any at the time.

Would you mind giving a little how-to? Concrete in mold... let set... pop out... right? Then, how long do you have to wait to glue on the stones / glass? Thanks for your help.

fiddlekate- I sprayed the star cake pan with pam (wonderful release agent!!!) and mixed up up everyday concrete, tapped the sides to get the bubbles out and about 24 hours later turned it over and it came out!! I did wrap it in wet towels for a couple of days.

I didn't know what I wanted to do with them so they have been sitting for about a month. I know the directions for the concrete say to let it cure for about a week. Covering it with wet towels or wet newspaper.

Hey CHICKEE! I've missed you, glad to see you back. Your stars are very cool. I have been wanting to make some stepping stones, never done that before. ONE of these days!!!

Chickee, those are so sweet! Hmmm, you always see old cake pans at yard sales. I really want try making some of these, thanks for the idea and the instructions. Yet another thing to hunt for, lol.
