Wow!! I LOVE those tiles. The leaves aren't bad either, but those tiles!!! I am doing some serious drooling over those.

How did you make those leaves? Did you have to fire in a kiln? GREAT tiles!! Were they pricey?

Please name those tiles! Where did you find those beautiful colors? That's exactly the colors I want on my backsplash in my kitchen!! Please tell!

I just used some tile I had kicking around and tried to shape it into leaves with my tile saw, and then score the top by pushing it along the blade. Then I used my grit stone and tried to smooth the edges. Can hardly wait till I order my new heavy duty blade for my glass saw as I'll make smaller and more defined ones!! And I should haul out my dremel and play around with the vein thing!Now onto the Yummy tiles I bought for the shroom...
Those tiles are even more goreous in person, trust me!!(4") They have a real metallicy sheen/vein going thru them. They are porceline but I forget the name, there's 1" squre tiles and 4", and 18" and also these weird sorta diamond shaped ones too, and they come in black blue yellow red AND the one inch ones Look awesome cuz they are cut and mixed up so it really shows off what a sheet can look like!!! I figured since I had the saw I'd cut em myself, big sheet is cheaper, but actually I am going to smash em for what I have in mind!!! You know, top of my psychodelic mushroom!!!heh heh! But these look amazing in a floor and wall setting!! And I can't begin to tell you about the metalic copper slate!!! WOW!!! AMAZING!!!

Those tiles are extraordinary! I like your leaves too, what project are you thinking of for those?

I remember Mad had posted a tile makers site once where the leaf tiles fit together like a puzzle - really neat, the lobes of one leaf fit in between the lobes of another that was really cool.

Nice job! Cool leaves. I think the dremmel would be perfect for making the veins.
