pgt vs cgi impact windows

I live in South Florida (Broward County). Looking to replace all of my windows with impact glass. After talking with 2 reputable companies I am at a loss. One said how great PGT is and that vinyl is better then aluminum because aluminum conducts more heat. The other says CGI windows are far superior to PGT in quality, that they used to carry PGT but dropped them and says the aluminum is a better product then vinyl because vinyl is easier to break in case of a break-in.

Is anyone familiar with CGI windows? how does it compare to PGT in terms of quality?

Personally I would avoid either dealer as that is not the way to sell a product period. If that is the method they use (bashing the other guy) then they truly do not know the true advantages of their own products. they should be showing you what makes their product better not what makes the competition worse. And in reality as wow stated their are obvious advantages depending on your locale. I have heard nothing but good about PGT as a well regarded well respected product and CGI I know nothing about as well.
