Good question, maybe if it was immersed under water, but I can't see getting anything but straight lines, like a tile saw blade, but giver a try and let us know..with pics...what bit were you thinkin of usin?

I don't believe that getting an electric tool wet would be a good idea...unless it was made for that specific purpose
(wet saw). I think this topic has come up before. If you do a search on dremel on this forum you may come up with more info.

Though you can drill a whole through glass with a diamond dremel bit...no water necessary.

I "look and lurk" everyday, havent posted too much and gotten even less done BUT the youngest child is in preschool this year for 3 hrs in the afternoon so maybe I can FINALLY get to finishing some mosaics I've started! You all have been such an inspiration, I LOVE seeing all the great works coming from this group!!

Thanks for posting this 'cause I had the same thought floating in my head. I lso must wait awhile before purchasing any heavy duty tools like a saw. Dang it!
