Love 'em! I actually made one nearly identical to your #2 ball in fall of 05...mine is a blue ball ;) instead of the green base. Is your pearl model for outdoor use, or just indoor? Very nice!

Chickee - I agree with you. They are kinda lumpy and, in looking at these pictures again, they look like they could use some cleaning up too!! I will have to get them out and give them some attention.
The pearls were like 6yd pieces I got at the Habitat resale store for something like $3. I can't imagine trying to grout it, Kelly! I have a hard enough time with the flat pieces! :) Around here, our version of the saying is "Balls to the walls".
